Boxwoods is home to some of the largest churches in Texas, and has even hosted universities like UT, A&M and Baylor! In the center of camp is The Hangar, a one-of-a-kind, state of the art, open-air covered meeting facility built entirely out of shipping containers! The Hangar features laser projection, amplified sound, LED lighting and a wrap around viewing balcony – it’s the perfect place to gather over 350+ people!

Accommodations

These are the coolest cabins you’ve ever seen (literally)! 25 shipping containers have been turned into air-conditioned cabins that each sleep 12 people. Our cabins feature spacious decks and gorgeous lake views, and are unlike anything else out there!

Boxwoods has plenty of spaces with gorgeous lake views for people to gather. Dining Facilities

At Boxwoods, we want to reimagine “camp food!” Students spend all-year eating in stale, cold cafeterias… They’ll LOVE the food-truck style experience at Boxwoods. Campers will grab their delicious food from The Icehouse, fill up a drink at The Refill Station, and enjoy eating anywhere around our amazing property – from relaxing in a cabana on The Beach to playing yard games with their friends in The Yard.

Recreation Areas

Fun at Boxwoods means fun ON THE LAKE. Texas 2nd largest lake, Lake Livingston, provides endless fun, as campers at Boxwoods enjoy hitting the water on our boats for tubing, banana boats and sunset boat rides. Students love either relaxing or wrestling on our Mega Floatillas, and play volleyball on beach sand or in the water on our private beach. On land, students have a blast on our paintball course and can be seen zooming on OneWheels, at the archery/tomahawk range or overcoming fears on our cratestacking platforms. There is so much to do at Boxwoods!

Let’s start planning your retreat.
