Capstone is a transformative experience that provides our oldest boy campers with unique opportunities to grow and develop into strong Christian leaders.
Continue reading below to learn more about why your son should be a part of Capstone and then enroll for either Quest or Roots!
1. Push Their Limits
Teen guys thrive when challenged. Whether it’s navigating the rugged Texas Hill Country, tackling the Rockies, or helping round up a group of our youngest campers, Capstone gives them the kind of adrenaline-filled and mentally rewarding adventure they can’t get from sports, school, or screens. It’s a chance to prove to themselves that they’re stronger and more capable than they realized.
2. Confidence Without Distractions
Capstone takes them out of their comfort zone and away from phones, stress, and comparison. Living in the wilderness, problem-solving as a team, and pushing through obstacles teaches a level of grit and perseverance that sticks with them long after Camp is over.
3. Faith That Feels Real
At this age, boys are asking big questions about purpose, identity, faith, and who they want to become. Capstone creates space for honest conversations, deeper Bible studies, and close community. They will learn how to own their faith and seek God’s will for their life.
4. Leadership For Adulthood
Capstone is built for rising leaders. Whether they choose Quest or Roots, they practice responsibility, teamwork, decision-making, and serving others. These are the exact skills they need as college students, young professionals, and Christian leaders.
5. An Unforgettable Chapter
It’s their last summer as a camper but they are just getting started. Though this is the ultimate Camp adventure, it is also a meaningful transition into young adulthood filled with leadership opportunities, real personal growth, and life skills they can apply anywhere.
